Welcome to Turkey Run Hostas. Open for 2013 starting Memorial Day weekend with limited inventory due to the late spring, more hosta varieties will be available in June. The garden is targetted to open for tours the weekend of June 1,2. Hopefully the weather will allow the ground to dry by then. -- May 25, 26, 27 Memorial Day weekend -- June 1, 2 -- June 8, 9 -- June 22, 23 -- June 29, 30 -- Open hours are from 1-5pm on these days at Turkey Run Hostas. Hosta Varieties for Sale: We plan to have more than 250 hosta varieties for sale in 2013. Our hosta list contains hostas that have been vernalized (over-wintered) and should be hardy in your garden. Keep checking the list as it will updated with new hostas currently on order, many of which will be available later this summer.

Strutting TurkeyYes, Turkey Run Hostas does have wild turkeys roaming our gardens. This tom turkey is doing his daily strut on our garage approach...20 feet from our window. Quite a sight! Award winners are hostas that are good garden plants in all a regions of the country, are widely available and in sufficient supply and retail for about $15.00 in the year of selection.
